I offer a supportive teaching style that incorporates a creative and challenging combination of different yoga asana styles, including forms of Hatha, Dharma, Kripalu, Vinyasa and Integral yoga.
Postures include flowing warriors, balances, twists, folds, back bends, hip openers, and strengthening core work. Attention to alignment and breathing is always central to the rhythm of the practice. Basic and advanced inversions are often included, but always with options for newer students or those not interested in these poses.
The results include enhanced flexibility, stimulated muscles, increased alignment, awakening of the body’s energy, and quieted minds.
I enjoy teaching beginner, mixed level, and advanced classes, in both heated and unheated settings, as well as in private sessions.
My goal and hope of the practice is that all students are transformed mentally, physically, and spiritually.
